The Green Footprint Group (GFG) is a student run company, formed by 6 sixth form students at Dover Grammar School for Boys. We began under the Young Enterprise scheme and as a company won our local, district and regional rounds and became the top team in England and second in the whole UK at the national finals in July 2008. We have also won a ChangeIt award and Try Angle award for our environmental successes and benefits as a team. We are now a fully pledged Limited company.

We offer a range of environmental products and services:

Reusable cotton carriers - made from 100% eco-friendly, unbleached cotton. 

E-compact- a resource educational CD for primary schools

EcoButtons- a USB device that with one click turns the computer into an “eco mode” to save energy when not in use.

Our mission statement and core values are as follows:

“We aim to provide beyond eco-excellence in our products and services and help our customers- primarily schools and businesses- to work towards a greener and more sustainable future”

In practice this means a number of things. Namely that we look to support and promote a greener, closely connected community and look to combine our ethical values with good business sense. It also means that we aim to be a sustainable business partner, creating a strong consumer-company partnership by sharing our environmentally fair and honest practices.
